Polaris RZR dominated the endurance race taking all 3 podium finishes at Pro Rock Racing's Survival Series UTV class. Only 9 of the 29 racers that started the race were able to complete all 4 laps of the 5 mile course. All 9 were RZRs, showing the durability and race proficiency of these machines.
Jay Shaw in his #17 RZR XP Turbo EPS taking the win. James Cantrell in the #502 Madram11 turbo took second and Chris Perales in the #3 KB3 RZR XP Turbo EPS finished third.
Jay Shaw commented after the race "Absolute blast!!! I thought the course was awesome. Short course was perfect, Woods was fast, it was just hard enough to break stuff if you went careless or hold together a stock rig like myself if you drove little more cautious." Shaw also noted "Overall outstanding first race, course, qualifying, timing, events staff, everyone hands down!"
This was the first of 4 Survival races being held by Pro Rock Racing, a series normally known for "Hill Killing" rock bouncer races.
The next Pro Rock Survival race is at Mine Made Adventure Park in Vest, Kentucky May 25th-27th
