My initial thoughts on the new RZR Turbo S:

Polaris has finally answered the call for the west coast dune/desert riders. Not with horsepower, but with a capable suspension set up to rival that of the 72" wide version of the Can Am X3. 

With 25" of usable wheel travel the Turbo S and the Active suspension tuning of the Dynamix system, this should be champion of the desert. (Time will tell)

However, at 72" this leaves the east coast woods riders left screaming "what about me?"

Let's break down a few of the new features that a sure to be incorporated into the generations of Polaris RZRs to come. 

Suspended front differential:

First seen on the newly released Polaris RZR RS1, the new front differential is pure BEEF! A complete overhaul from the already well designed differential that eliminates many of the previous weak points. Suspended with bushings, the new designed diff sports  a thicker case, double sleeve output cups, huge rollers, a massive steel sprague, a giant armature plate, and complete elimination of the puny roll pin of the past.

Stronger Axles:

With the introduction of a new XP platform in 2014, the horsepower gains (88hp jumped to 107hp), a need for stronger axles was necessary.
